Set a pickup and a destination once, then open the same trip in Uber and in Lyft. The prices you see next are each company's own live prices - this page never estimates them.
An illustration, not a live map - your real trip should load in the apps.
Compare at the moment you want to ride: prices move minute to minute with demand.

How this works
I found no public, supported way for a page like this one to pull live prices out of Lyft or Uber, and third-party estimator sites only guess from rate cards. So this page hands your trip to each provider with everything filled in, and you compare their real, current prices side by side on your phone.
Lyft closed web booking entirely, so Lyft prices and booking live in the Lyft app only.
Uber works in its app or on the web after you sign in. Its live prices stay behind that sign-in, so this page cannot show them for you.
The same trip can price differently minute to minute when demand spikes, so the freshest comparison is the one you make right before riding.
